Start here: this week
Hand in by 5 October: your Gecko capstone and your final
Two things are due on Monday 5 October. They are handed in separately, and both end up on one row of the Finish line.
| The Gecko capstone | The final submission | |
|---|---|---|
| What | your own my-gecko-buyer: store, buyer, receipts, refusals |
your research agent, on the private questions |
| What you hand in | a link to your repository | the answers your agent gave |
| How | paste the link into this form | uv run bootcamp final submit --github <you> |
| Where it shows | Finish line: a link to your commit | Finish line: your score, and whether you are eligible |
You can hand in either one again until the deadline. The latest one counts.
The Gecko capstone link
1. Push your evidence first
The bot records the newest commit on your repository, and that commit is what the
judges read. In my-gecko-buyer:
git add receipts intents refusals smoke-report.json docs
git commit -m "Capstone hand-in"
git push
| The judges look for | Made by |
|---|---|
receipts/<sig8>.md |
uv run buyer "one espresso" --devnet |
refusals/ |
make smoke (or the cards) |
smoke-report.json |
make smoke, or make smoke-recorded |
docs/DEFENCE.md, docs/ADR*, docs/ISSUES.md |
you |
Never commit a key. python3 scripts/scan_secrets.py must find nothing.
2. Paste your link
Open Hand in my Gecko capstone, paste
https://github.com/<you>/my-gecko-buyer, and press Submit new issue. That is all:
it works from a phone too.
Within a minute a bot answers on the issue:
| The bot says | Do this |
|---|---|
| Recorded, with a commit | done. Your row in the Finish line links to it |
| Recorded, but lists missing receipts, refusals or smoke report | push them, then edit the issue (any change) to record the newer commit |
belongs to somebody else |
paste the repository under your account |
| the course template | make it yours: git remote rename origin upstream, then gh repo create my-gecko-buyer --public --source . --remote origin --push; edit the issue with the new link |
| private, or does not exist | make the repository public, then edit the issue |
Pushed more after handing in? Edit the issue, and the newest commit replaces the old one.
Prefer the terminal? From your course folder, after git pull && uv sync:
uv run bootcamp gecko submit --repo ../my-gecko-buyer --github <you>. It prints the
same file and how to open its pull request. Either route ends in the same place.
The final submission
Unchanged: the final assignment has every step. In short,
from my-final-assignment:
export DEV3PACK_API_BASE=https://app.geckovision.tech
uv run bootcamp final grade # practise
uv run bootcamp final submit --github <you> # hand in
Your score arrives a few minutes after the merge, in
finals/<you>/result.json, and on the Finish line.
Stuck?
Post in the cohort chat with the pull request link, or the line the check printed.
